Guam Rocks! Live from Ritidian

WERI kicks off the Guam Rocks! show at Ritidian's National Wildlife Refuge as part of a series of student field trips running from April to May.Students participated in learning about Guam's geology through a game called "Sink or Float?", where they learned what characteristics determine the density of a rock. Other rock characteristics were also exhibited with local samples of magnetic sand and a rock bubbling when exposed to some chemical. The inner-workings of the Northern Guam Lens Aquifer (NGLA) was also revealed through a mini model.
