WERI will be hosting an international collaborative workshop with Changwon National University from Changwon, South Korea. G-LMAP is CWNU’s Global Learning & Academic research institution for Masters and PhD students and Postdocs.

Day 1 will take place on Thursday, January 16, 2025 and will include presentations from both CWNU and WERI.

Day 2 will be held on the next day, Friday, January 17, 2025. A MOU Signing Ceremony will be held in the morning followed by a tour of the Northern Guam Lens Aquifer.

2024 WERI Advisory Council Meetings

WERI organizes the annual Advisory Council Meetings for the Western Pacific, including Guam, FSM, and CNMI. These meetings engage a diverse audience from government agencies, the military, private sectors, and other interested parties. WERI uses these meetings to present updates on its mission, vision, and recent research achievements, and to provide expert perspectives on water resources, water quality, climatology, groundwater modeling, and information access. The meetings also serve as a platform to solicit research interests and concerns from participants. To read more about the details for each meeting, please click on one of the event links below.
