Feng Chia University recently traveled from Taiwan to Guam and visited WERI, UOG, and the UOG School of Engineering (SENG). The visit was aimed at fostering academic collaboration and knowledge exchange among faculty and students from both institutions.
During the visit, Feng Chia University was given a warm welcome with a WERI orientation led by Interim Director, Dr. Ross Miller. The orientation provided a great opportunity for the visitors to learn more about the work and research being done at WERI. Following this, faculty and staff from WERI presented their research on water-related resources, providing valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities in this field. The visitors also had the chance to go on a Guam ecology field trip led by WERI Geologist, Dr. Blaž Miklavič. Faculty and students from Feng Chia University also presented their research, showcasing their areas of expertise.
The visit was a great opportunity for both institutions to learn from each other and build strong academic partnerships. It is a testament to the commitment of both institutions to promote academic excellence and advance research in their respective fields. Overall, the visit was a success and is sure to inspire further collaboration between Feng Chia University and the institutions in Guam.
