Ms. Hazelle Ko, Master of Science in Environmental Science. December 2024 graduate.
WERI is proud to announce the latest brilliant Master of Environmental Science graduate of 2024, Ms. Hazelle Ko.
Ms. Ko successfully defended her thesis on Chloride Trends in the Yigo-Tumon Basin, Northern Guam Lens Aquifer, 1973-2022: Natural and Manmade Factors in November. Her work as a graduate student was recognized by the university, where she was granted the “Outstanding Graduate Award” in May 2023 at UOG’s graduate student awards ceremony. She has also participated in various research conferences on the national and international stage to present her work and represent WERI-UOG. During the 14th International Conference on Environmental Science and Development (ICESD) in May 2023 at Xiamen, China, she was awarded “Best Presentation.” In the past two years, she has also shared her work at the NGWA’s National Groundwater Week in Las Vegas, Nevada.
WERI commends Ms. Ko on her achievements and congratulates her on her well-deserved success!
